- Please check-in with the clubhouse when you first arrive.
- MASKS are required while inside the clubhouse. Plan accordingly.
- You will pay your course fees at this time and your code for a small bucket of range balls will be on your receipt.
- They will not know very much about our tournament other than what your tee time is and how much they are supposed to charge you. If you have any questions about our event please wait and ask them at the 1st tee with our tee starter Bill Hanstedt.
- Because this is a tee time event, it is your responsibility to be to the 1st tee for your scheduled start time. There is a putting/chipping green near the 1st tee and I’d recommend being around that area approximately 10 minutes before your tee time to be safe.
- Please go to the 1st tee as soon as the group ahead of you leaves the tee box area so you can check-in with Bill with plenty of time to spare.
- When you get to the 1st tee you will get your official tournament scorecard and this is also when you will have the opportunity to enter our Super Skins game.
- Here is also where you will meet our tournament sponsor Jose Leon with CrossCountry Mortgage.
- Please thank him for supporting our tour and making it possible to keep more prize money in the pot for all of you players.
- If you are looking to refinance your existing home loan or looking to purchase a new home, Jose and CrossCountry are great to work with.
- I have personal experience as I purchased a home myself just a little over a month ago with Jose and he made everything super easy for my wife and I.
- We will be using the live leaderboard again this event and I will send a separate email with the links and codes for that.
- Carts do have the USB plug-ins so feel free to bring a power cord with you to keep your phones at 100%
- Bill Hanstedt will be our tournament starter on the 1st tee.
- Bill will collect money and handout scorecards.
- Please make sure you are familiar with this email as Bill will only know as much as this email says.
- Keep up with the group ahead of you.
- Play ready golf.
- You CANNOT remove the flagstick.
- There is foam in the cups so your ball will not go all the way to the bottom of the cup. I played the course earlier this week and my foursome did not have a single issue with the ball not staying in the hole.
- The ball MUST stay in the hole for your hole to be complete.
- This will be the same for the entire field and not a group by group decision.
- If the ball isn’t in the hole, the ball isn’t in the hole.
- Triple bogey max for the entire field.
- No “gimmies”. Putt everything out unless you have reached triple bogey.
- Play OB as a lateral hazard with the exception being you can not play from OB, you must take a drop.
- All tall grass areas whether marked or not will be played as a lateral hazard.
- Bunkers have no rakes. Play all bunkers like a waste bunker.
- You can lift your ball and smooth out the sand under the ball and place it back down.
- You can ground your club.
- You can take practice swings in the bunkers.
- If you leave before all your flight is in and you are needed for a playoff for 1st, you will automatically forfeit 1st place.
- If you know you are not going to win or be needed for a playoff and you leave early, I will payout prize money and skin money electronically.
- If you have any rules questions in your group that you can not settle amongst yourselves, please play two balls and the course Pro will make a decision when you finish your round.
When you finish, verify your official scorecards are accurate with your playing competitors, sign and turn them into me inside the restaurant. More than likely I will be set up on the patio.
If you can think of any other questions please reach out and ask now as I will not be available until after my round tomorrow.
Additional Details
The NEW Golf Tour has negotiated a special price for this event. You will pay the course the morning of the event for your course fees. If you are a season pass holder at this course or a member or you have a gift certificate or gift card for this course, please check with the club pro to ensure they will waive the course fees for this event. Most courses are willing to waive these fees but you still need to check with the course because ultimately it is their decision.
