- When you arrive, please go into the Pro Shop and pay your course fees.
- $54 if you are riding
- $36 if you are walking
- Warm-up
- The range is to the left of Hole #1.
- There is a practice chipping/putting green on the backside of the clubhouse, kind of behind #9 green. It’s kind of hidden, gotta look for it.
- There is another practice chipping/putting green down towards the maintenance sheds. This would be going away from the clubhouse between #10 and #18.
- Lastly there is a putting green next to #1 tee box.
- Please be near the #1 tee ten minutes out from your tee time.
- When your tee time is up, Bill Hanstedt will be on the 1st tee with your official scorecard for this event.
- This is also when you will have the opportunity to enter our Super Skins game.
- This is an optional skins game that is for the entire field.
- Part of your $50 entry fee goes into a small skins game for your flight.
- This is also when you will have the opportunity to enter our Super Skins game.
- Super Skins
- $20 for Champ Flight (Blue tees)
- $20 for Nicklaus Flight (White tees)
- $10 for Trevino Flight (White tees)
- $10 for Player Flight (White tees)
- $10 for Nelson Flight (Gold tees)
- $10 for Watson Flight (Golf tees)
- Sara (owner of Fox Cities Sign) will also be at the 1st tee welcoming you and handing out swag.
- Sara has been a great sponsor of the tour for many years and I would appreciate all of you telling her thank you for supporting the tour.
- Sara built our tour store on our homepage and she takes care of any merch you would like to order.
- Some of the groupings have players in different flights, make sure you all know and play from the appropriate tee box each hole.
- Champ is blue, Nelson and Watson are gold, all other flights are white.
- Triple Bogey Max – once you reach triple bogey, pick up and help the others in your group finish the hole.
- Do not finish the hole and then just take a triple after the fact. Take the triple and keep it moving.
- We play OB like a lateral hazard (except you can not play from OB).
- If you hit a ball OB, go to the point of entry, take a two-club length drop no closer to the hole, take one penalty stroke, drop and keep it moving.
- No “gimmie” putts. Finish each hole by putting the ball in the hole.
- Unless of course you have already reached triple bogey for that hole.
- Brown County has foam in their cups, down a little ways so they don’t really affect much.
- You are welcome to leave the pin in or take the pin out.
- If you leave the pin in, the ball must stay in the cup to count.
- If you take the pin out, be careful with the foam so as to not damage anything.
- Keep pace with the group ahead of you. Don’t worry too much if the group behind you isn’t pushing you, try to stay with the group ahead of you.
- Bunkers do not have rakes, therefore they are “waste” bunkers.
- Meaning you can ground your club and take practice swings.
- You can also pick your ball up and smooth out the sand under your ball before replacing your ball back in the bunker.
- Please keep your own scorecard and keep score for at least one other player in your group, not the other guy in your cart (if you are riding).
- We will have a live leaderboard for this event and I will be sending the links and codes for that soon.
- Remember, your official scorecard is your official score, the live leaderboard is a nice feature and reference.
- Any 1st place ties will have an on-course playoff. If you are the leader in the clubhouse in your flight, you need to stick around until you know you have been beaten.
- If you leave and are needed for a playoff, you will forfeit.
- If you are not the leader in the clubhouse, you are welcome to stick around and visit or you can leave.
- If you place or win a skin, I can send those winnings electronically.
- Bill will confirm on the 1st tee but as of now we will plan on playing the ball down.
- Playing the ball down means you cannot touch the ball, no rolling, no moving, no touching. Play the ball as it lies.
- If a ball becomes embedded, you get a free drop no closer to the hole.
- A plugged ball in a bunker obviously doesn’t really matter as you get to lift, smooth with foot, and replace.
